A skills assessment or tryout is required for all League Age 7 and up for both boys and girls. This includes returning Major Players.  Everyone makes a team regardless of your skill level.  Returning Major players will remain on a Majors team and cannot be reassigned to Minors.  Once a Majors player always a Majors player.  Tryouts will begin this Monday, Feb 27, 2023 at 6 PM for league ages 7-12. All other ages will try out on Wednesday, March 1 beginning at 6pm. We ask you arrive at least 30 minutes before  to check in with the Player Agents.  Check-in will be on the second floor of the clubhouse of the Major baseball field on Michael Lane.  Only the player needs to go upstairs to check-in.  It is tight quarters upstairs.  The parents can remain at the bottom of the stairs unless you still have paperwork that needs to be addressed. NO PLAYER WILL BE ON THE FIELD UNTIL ALL PAPERWORK HAS BEEN TURNED IN.

 No parents are allowed on the field at this time but are more than welcome to watch quietly from the stands.  Only approved volunteers will be allowed on the fields to conduct tryouts.  Baseball is a game and should be fun so there will be no negative criticism during tryouts.  This can be a stressful experience for these young players and shouting or instructing from the stands can cause more stress than necessary.
